DJ KA BOO tells his STORY
Simply a very passionate music lover, I started to learn DJ techniques at the young age of 17. Having been told at several occasions that I had a good ear for RnB & HipHop music selection I decided to pursue it further and taught myself the art of DJing. I kick started my career by being a guest DJ at TGI Friday, Cairo after which I was contacted by talent seekers and got a break at one of the biggest clubs in Cairo, Club Rive Gauche for the popular RnB & HipHop nights.
My club appearances include several high profile clubs in Cairo.
By 2007 I got ranked #1 RnB & HipHop DJ in Cairo by Al Ahram Weekly Newspaper.
I moved to the UAE in 2008 and was contacted by Cubes nightclub in The One to One Hotel for their RnB & HipHop night.
My club appearances in Abu Dhabi & Dubai include:
- Etoiles, Emirates Palace
- Club Eight, Shangri la
- Vogue Party @ Thirty 1st club Holiday Inn
- Nasimi Beach, Atlantis Hotel, Dubai
- Allure by Cipriani, Yas Island
Besides club appearances, I have been the warm up DJ for several concerts such as BLUE ,Sean Paul,Massari & Blackstreet as well as worked alongside with international Djs
