Zaid Khaled
Cairo-based Jordanian artist Zaid Khaled turns his stories into intimate Arabic pop. Part dance floor. Part daydream. From the playful electronics of his debut album Tayarat o Sayarat, a collaboration with El Waili, to the richly arranged compositions of Ahla Ayam Hayati, his sound keeps shifting while staying personal. In Le Blad, he traces a journey from North Africa to Blad el Sham. His latest EP, Sahar el Layali with Ahmad Diaa, is led by the standout track Khatem.
