Rooftop Rhythms #14- Hosted by Dorian "Paul D" Rogers Note: Rooftop Rhythms #13 broke new attendance records with over 200 at the new Hilton hotel (formerly Rocco Forte) on Friday, June 28, 2013! We hosted the UAE's 3rd ever poetry slam (The other two were also hosted by Rooftop Rhythms) and the competition did not disappoint. Haitham Haze pulled out the win in dramatic fashion and won the 300 AED cash prize. After breaking for Ramadan, we are ready to take the rest of 2013 and the beginning of 2014 to the next level! Look out for more feature poets from all over the world and even better shows as the local Abu Dhabi poetry scene continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Come early to the show on September 27, 2013, as the city will be buzzing to check out the best performance talent in the city. Dress Code: This is a high fashion affair. The dress code is modern elegance. Guests are requested not to wear baseball caps, flip-flops, and shorts. UPDATE: Veils and traditional attire are allowed.
