Team Paddle Challenge - Stand Up for Raelyn

Stand Up for Raelyn in Abu Dhabi at Yas Marina! This paddle challenge is open to everyone of all levels and we hope to see families get involved and paddle together! Who is Raelyn? Greg and Rebecca Beckler (fellow Stand Up Paddlers in California) are struggling day to day to provide the care that their adorable 4 year old daughter, Raelyn, who is battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia - we want to help Raelyn and her family continue to fight! Live Love SUP Ambassador and amazing distance paddling athlete, Shane Perrin, has been busy encouraging SUP community leaders in the US to organized their own event on Martin Luther King Day - January 20th to raise funds for Raelyn and we thought we could do something too here in Abu Dhabi on January 25th. *****EVENT DETAILS***** What: Team Paddle Chalenge at Yas Marina Abu Dhabi 4 hour paddle / 400 meter laps / 400 AED Team Donation for 4 year old Raelyn! When: January 25th 9am-1pm (Briefing at 8:30) / Breakfast will be provided (Bagels/Donuts/Juice Coffee) and we will eat after at Stars and Bars for lunch for those who would like to join. Who: Make a team of 2-4 people (Get your kids involved!) Wear a Team uniform (same t-shirts/colors, etc. get creative!) Entry Fee: Team Donation AED 400 (You can have people sponsor your laps) If you would like to donate directly to their page instead you can here: http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/paddle-for-her-battle/74742 We will start at 9am and continuously paddle until 1pm - 4 hours in total and let's see how many laps we can do all together! Each team will count their laps and we'll see how many we can reach together. There will be some prizes throughout the paddle for 'special fun laps' we create! Live Love SUP will contribute an additional donation amounting to the number of laps that were completed in AED. Ie. Total laps = 600 = 600 AED donated to Raeyln's fundraiser. If you don't have a board, but would like to participate please fill out the form and request a board. There should be plenty of boards available as only one board is needed at a time for each team.
