THE SPORTSMAN’S ARMS FAMILY BRUNCH

The Sportsman’s Arms, Abu Dhabi’s first family-friendly gastropub, has launched its much-anticipated Friday brunch with sharing platters, a dedicated kids’ menu and a unique dining concept that sets it apart from the standard brunch buffet.

The Friday Family Brunch will offer sharing platters of mixed starters and desserts for two, with a choice of one main course per person. Guests will not need to leave the table; instead, sharing platters with starters including pulled beef croquettes, pastrami cured salmon and smoked haddock fishcakes will be brought to the table.

For the main course, Executive Chef Ivan Sabol offers popular dishes like the Murphy’s beef Irish stew, fish and chips, spring pea risotto or a choice of pizzas - all made in house. The Sportsman’s roast dinner has become a firm favourite at the gastropub and is also an option with a choice of three meat cuts, beef, lamb or turkey. Guests can then finish the big weekend meal with a sharing platter of desserts including sticky toffee pudding and a chocolate brownie.

While the parents enjoy brunch with friends, children can go out and play on the family terrace, which has a soft play zone and climbing frame. The Little Sportsman’s Brunch includes a starter, main course and dessert, with soft drinks, juice and water for AED 60. Dough balls and dips are served as starters, while burgers, pizzas and many other firm favourites are available for mains. The ice cream bike will dish out cones, tubs and cookie sandwiches for dessert, and freshly made popcorn to accompany.
