Orquesta Sinfónica Universidad de NavarraA student symphony orchestra based in Pamplona, Spain, composed of university-aged musicians. It offers students the opportunity to develop their musical skills in a professional symphonic environment while earning academic credit through the University of Navarra’s Artistic Talent Programme.
The orchestra performs a varied repertoire, collaborates with renowned soloists and conductors, and presents public concerts at venues including the University of Navarra Museum (MUN).
Borja Quintas – ConductorBorja Quintas is an internationally active conductor who has performed across Europe and the Middle East, working with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the New Russia Symphony Orchestra.
A graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, he received the Red Diploma of Excellence. His work spans symphonic, operatic, and interdisciplinary productions, with recordings for labels including Naxos. He is currently the artistic director of several youth and university orchestras and teaches orchestral conducting in Spain.
Jesús Carmona – Dancer and ChoreographerBorn in Barcelona in 1985, Jesús Carmona is one of Spain’s most acclaimed flamenco dancers and choreographers. A former principal dancer with the Ballet Nacional de España, he has created award-winning works including Impetus and Baile de Bestias.
In 2023, he founded Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid. His career includes performances at major international venues and honours such as the Spanish National Dance Prize and Benois de la Danse Award.
