Inspired by the much-loved book Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, this lively stage adaptation invites families into a joyful celebration of imagination and storytelling.

Charlie loves getting lost in a great book, especially ones filled with pirates and adventure. His sister, however, finds reading dull, so Charlie sets out to show her just how magical a story can be.

Perhaps she could read a story about a pirate, who is reading a story about Goldilocks, who is reading a story about a knight…

Blending charming puppetry, engaging characters, and enchanting songs, the show brings a whole bookshelf of stories to life on stage.
