The setting is wonderful and the talent was even better.

stage setup was amazing, the graphics/illustrations on the screen were a nice touch. The performances themselves were amazing. Finally, the setting was really nice, I much prefer the outdoor setting to doing something inside the arts center or any closed hall/venue.

What does home mean to you? Your country, your city, your family? Celebrate UAE National Day with a line-up of poets, spoken word artists, musicians, and storytellers from diverse backgrounds and cultures coming together for the 8th annual Hekayah | The Story.

A one-of-a-kind event that showcases the beautiful diversity of the UAE; with A diverse group of artists exploring their heritages and cultural performances. Presented live on The East Plaza, this year’s edition is MC’d by Maryam Alshehhi and features the following lineup:

The lineup of performers was selected through a collaborative curatorial process by key players in the UAE's cultural, poetry, arts, and writing communities, including Farah Chamma, Osama Motassem, Maryam Khalifa Alshehhi, Dorian Paul Rodgers, and Bill Bragin.

● Entry to the NYUAD Campus is through either the East or West Parking or the Welcome Center.
● Patrons will be required to present a valid ticket to an event at The Arts Center upon entry to the campus.
● As per current Department of Culture and Tourism guidelines a Green Al Hosn is NO LONGER needed to attend public events in Abu Dhabi.
● The wearing of face masks is NO LONGER required in most indoor public places, including campus buildings.
