Pearl Diver's Daughter in Abu Dhabi

This project is a mix of history and artistic fantasy. Drawing on the now-lost art of Pearl Diving it tells the story of a Pearl Diver and his daughter, and of the choice the Diver must make when, in a magical experience while diving, he comes across a legendary pearl, the most sought-after of all Pearls. This pearl is the embodiment of a spirit, and that spirit gives the Diver a choice. He can capture it, return to the surface a wealthy and famous man. But the cost, he is told, is that his daughter will one day drown at sea. He can remain in the sea, given a sea creatures form (a dolphin) and be there to save her one day, or he can return to the surface with the pearl.
