2 Chainz, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning MC first made his mark when he broke out of his native Atlanta as a founding member of the duo Playaz Circle, before launching a successful solo career that has been marked by numerous hit singles and collabs with other hip hop artists such as Kanye and Drake.

New York rapper Dave East has established himself as one of the formidable new talents from the East Coast. He was named as one of XXL’s 2016 Freshman and subsequently delivered a show-stopping performance in the XXL Freshmen Cypher. 2017 saw the Harlem artist release PARANOIA: A True Story EP in conjunction with Def Jam & Mass Appeal Records. The EP features guest appearances from Nas, Jeezy, French Montana, Chris Brown & Wiz Khalifa as it charted #1 on iTunes. Most recently Dave East released “Survival Pacc”, a two-song drop with features from Gunna and Max B, in anticipation for his upcoming album Survival.

Profound, yet buoyantly energetic, Armani White wants to trademark happy hood music. On the freewheeling “Billie Eilish,” he lets loose, fusing zany wordplay with machismo he earned from his upbringing in West Philadelphia, where he soaked up the sounds of Ludacris, State Property and Eminem. “Stick Up” (2015) was a pulsing boom bap single coated in braggadocio and comical flashes of danger. The video netted tens of thousands of views, and Pharrell even played one of Armani’s songs on his Beats 1 Radio show. He re-emerged with the lighthearted but existential “Public School” (2018), and Keep in Touch (2019), a project that reaffirmed his all-around songwriting abilities. Soon Armani was hitting the stage for shows with Vince Staples, Nas, James Blake and Aminé, to name a few. Armani’s next EP, Things We Lost In The Fire (fall 2021) addressed personal tragedy with unflinching transparency. It was the prelude to “Billie Eilish” in the new year.
