Animenia, an anime festival that redefines anime expos, is coming to Abu Dhabi, October 23-27, 2024, in Manarat al Saadiyat. This new festival is a celebration of all things anime, filled with community spirit, immersive experiences, diverse programming, cosplay, and Japanese-influenced activations. It invites festival goers to connect, explore, and revel in the boundless imagination of anime.

Animenia will feature full-scale recreations of your favorite anime scenes, classic Japanese-inspired Arabic cartoons, daring Harajuku streetwear, Tokyo street food, J-Pop performances, intricate cosplay, and 5 days of Nippon adventures."

Is there an age restriction for the festival?

Guests below 12 years old must be accompanied by someone over 21.

Guests 4 years old and under can access the festival free of charge and must be accompanied by someone over 21. This excludes access to concerts and meet and greets.

Seniors over 60 years old, and POD can enter the festival free of charge. Excluding concerts and paid attractions.

Are there any items not permitted in the festival?
No professional cameras, audio or video recorders are allowed. Bags larger than 30 x 30 x 15cm are not allowed in the venue. There are no storage facilities at the venue.

Are Viagogo tickets valid?
Fans are strongly advised against purchasing tickets from Viagogo. These tickets are unlawfully resold by deceitful sellers for multiple times the face value and are not legitimate tickets. Should you purchase these tickets you will be denied entry into the venue and you will not be entitled to a refund.

By public transportation: You can take buses 170 and 121 all the way to the Cranleigh Tower / Jacques Chirac St bus stop and have a short walk from there.
