This Friday sees Decadent Entertainment bring to you ‘RetroFlect – Urban Special’, with DJ Adam J bringing you the biggest Urban, RnB and Hip Hop Classics. Fresh from filming his latest MTV smash ‘ We Came to Party’ in Dubai, we bring DJ Adam J to Pearls & Caviar for the first time. If you've been missing your walks down quality music lane when you've been out recently, then this is a night with a difference not to be missed. -----DJ ADAM J----- DJ Adam J is a man who is living the dream – a dream of taking his DJing skills to the world's hottest urban scenes and showing people, in his own words “how I get down”. Two Time Out Nightlife Dubai Awards in the past two years for Best Urban Night for his Number 1 Fridays residency and a resume that includes just about every big name in the urban music world from the last decade are any indication, it is definitely a well received vibe. Adam J's career has taken him from the legendary London urban scene, through a two year stint dominating Dubai's exotic and hedonistic nightlife, and on to a true global presence. He now regularly gigs all over the UK, Europe, United Arab Emirates and America, playing clubs and concerts as well as private corporate functions, fashion shows, and celebrity parties. He has also established himself as something of an authority for other urban DJs and artists, with his monthly columns, reviews and charts for industry magazines and sites. Naturally, DJ Adam J is also in huge demand in the studio – producing and remixing for urban artists all over the world, and working on his first original album, which you can expect to drop later in 2012. For a taste of what's to come, you can check out his Nightcrashers produced debut single We Came to Party, which features hotly tipped UK artist Master Shortie and will be officially released on Nightcrasher Records on May 14th. Some say it is Adam J's energy, style and almost instinctive ability to mix all genres of music together into surprising and innovative grooves while staying true to his urban roots that set him apart and keep him sought after by the biggest artists and clubs. Others say it is skill, determination and raw talent. As a child of the '90s, she grew up surrounded by music, mainly thanks to her father's influence. Having an extensive knowledge in music makes her appreciate every musical genre possible. In the likes of experimental, jazz, classical, opera & world music. She's a hot piece of talent as she has played for exclusive VIP events around Dubai, including yacht parties at the marina. She has played at the biggest clubs in Dubai during her first year (2010) at Chi@TheLodge (PINK Ladies Night) and Sanctuary (Nasimi's Back2Back Full Moon Party); lounge/bars such as Time Cafe, CatWalk, The Z:ONE Bar, SkyLine & Da Gama. In 2011, she started the New Year with a big bang by DJing alongside Mr. Shef Codes at the Rolling Stone Battle of the Bands during the GULF BIKE WEEK. She has currently played in Senyar Bar, Bliss Lounge & Pearls & Caviar. Her main mixing style consists of RnB, Hip Hop and Old School with versatile twangs of Dirty Electro House, Retro, Rock and even Arabic Music. Stating that she loves to incorporate songs that are commercial but have not been heard of in awhile. Her unique tracks have great rhythm and make people want to battle it out on the dance floor and go crazy. http://www.facebook.com/djtrina -----Jono Bradford----- Born in Western Australia, Jono grew up during two golden-ages of music, "grunge" and "brit-pop", and was quickly hooked on the beats of Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Sound Garden, Stone Roses, Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Radiohead and Chemical Brothers to name a few. After studying at The Academy of Radio in Western Australia he worked his way through various radio stations until a job at Arabian Radio Network in Dubai. Here he worked as presenter, producer, programmer and promotions manager. He also got to meet some famous names in the DJ and Music industry including Eric Morillo, Sasha and Basement Jaxx. Since moving to Abu Dhabi, Jono is now a part time DJ mixing tunes from the 80s through to today. Please note: Normal club policies apply - Mixed Couples Dress Code Smart Casual.
