Mehad Hamad, the celebrated and cherished Emirati superstar and pioneer singer of UAE heritage songs, debuts the programme dedicated to featuring popular Arab superstars at the Cultural Foundation. He performs unique lyrics and melodies arranged for traditional Emirati songs, often accompanied by the oud. His artistic repertoire includes nearly 1,400 songs spanning a period of 38 years. He is also known for his national songs as well as songs about the desert.

Mehad Hamad occasionally introduces new Khaleeji style songs such as "Ya Habibi". He has also worked alongside Tyrese Gibson, and has set the words of renowned poet Ousha bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi to music. He has collaborated with leading Arab authors, composers and artists, and has performed words and poems by UAE leaders, particularly poems written by His Highness the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of the nation.
