Boogie Box Festival in Abu Dhabi

Stage One:

Stage One will be geared towards Big Room Energy, and we are excited to offer a platform to debut three of the most sought-after DJs on the dance music festival circuit.

First up is DJ BORING, who epitomizes the dance floor roots of club culture; positive, liberating energy and unbridled fun and self-expression. Watching DJ BORING in action is the antithesis of his mundane pseudonym; vibrant, energizing, fun, and full of passion, Tristan Hallis puts his all into every set. Over the last few years, he has ascended rapidly thanks to his dazzling displays, impeccable selection, and high quality productions. The Australian selector takes great pride in his digging capabilities, constantly searching for lesser-known gems from years gone by, and pairing them up with more recent cuts that are equally exceptional.

Joining DJ BORING on Stage One is Dutch prodigy Young Marco. 2023 saw Young Marco explosively crossover into new territories that were previously unchartered due to the release of the instant classic and soon-to-be Beatport no.1 hit ‘What You Say?”. Synonymous with institutions like Dekmantel and Rush Hour, Young Marco has toured the world extensively over the past decade, most recently closing the main stage at Dekmantel, providing a full circle moment since the beginning of his new future.

Last but not least is Roma-based DJ Adiel, who earned her creds hypnotizing crowds at the infamous Goa Ultra Beat Parties and has brought her unique style of techno to many of the largest stages in Europe and beyond. Her skills as a DJ and producer have seen her play at some of the coolest clubs and festivals such as Awakenings, ADE, Dekmantel, Off Sonar, Berghain, London’s Printworks, DC10, De School and Fuse in Brussels.

Stage Two:

Stage Two will showcase a quirkier, moodier, and more diverse selection of sounds; with a coterie of some of the most talented local and international artists, and will also feature a UAE debut for an artist we are immensely proud to host.

Stepping up to the plate is none other than Hunee. Watching him dj - it’s clear that he has a close relationship with the dancefoor. Here's a DJ who celebrates with the people on the other side of the booth, taking them on a musical journey that transcends time and place. There is explorative energy in his DJ sets that are geared towards making each set become its own unique animated being that breathes and pushes forward. His own productions on labels like Rush Hour, W.T., and Future Times are as colorul as his character, displaying a diverse spectrum of his inspirations. No matter how much they difer from each other, each Hunee record has a certain kinked funk, a true sense of soul, or loveable house heritage that puts them up there with the best of the rest.

Both stages will be supported by a range of artists who have been at the forefront of defining the regional scene. Tarek Barada, Parvane, Nesta, Omar Fayyad, Maks, and Boogie Box residents, Hani J, Hassan Alwan, Ricardo De Menesis, and Shadi Megallaa, will all add their unique flavor to help make it one night to remember.

The festival will feature a Food and Market arena, showcasing a diverse selection of food and beverage options from homegrown vendors, in addition to a vibrant marketplace offering Art, Music, Photography, and more.

The festival will be hosted at Hudayriyat Beach on Hudayirat Island in the heart of Abu Dhabi which is approximately an hour and fifteen minutes away from Dubai.

Sustainability is at the forefront of the message at our festival, and we will be working to ensure that we are committed to a zero single use plastic approach.
