The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open will be taking place between 1st-8th February 2025 at the International Tennis Center, Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi. The WTA 500 tournament is part of the Hologic WTA Tour and will see the best female players in the world competing across eight days.

Enjoy all of the action and entertainment as one of the finest women’s tournaments on the WTA Tour returns to Abu Dhabi.

Delivering some of the world’s greatest women’s tennis athletes to an iconic stage, the third edition will feature 28 singles players and 16 doubles teams taking part an unmissable moment on the tennis calendar in 2025.
Saturday/Sunday Qualification Days: Open seating throughout the stadium.

Courtside: (Monday to Wednesday)
  • Courtside seating in front 2 closest to the action.

Courtside Hospitality (Thursday-Saturday):
  • Courtside seatng in front 2 closest to the action.
  • Inclusive of newly upgraded hospitality lounge passes and parking passes.
  • Hospitality includes premium F&B offering.

Premium Category 1:
  • Lower bowl seating.
  • Reserved seating in Stadium Court.
  • Also Includes access to the outer match courts (open seating).

Category 2:
  • Upper Bowl seating (unreserved seating).
  • These are filled on a first come, first served basis, and entry is permitted with proof of your Stadium Court ticket.
GENERAL

  • What dates are the event?
    The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open will return in 2025 from February 1-8 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

  • What players are participating?
    This WTA 500 event features 28 of the world’s leading female tennis stars to be announced soon!
  • What is the tournament format?
    This tournament is a WTA 500 level event, with a 28-player singles main draw, a 16-team doubles main draw, and a 24-player singles qualifying draw.

  • Is there any other entertainment during the event
    Make the most of the entertainment within the Tennis Village including player practice, family activities, and food trucks, before the on-court action begins!

 

TICKETS

 

  • Can you buy tickets at the venue on the day?
    We recommend getting your tickets now to avoid disappointment!

  • What age can children enter for free?
    Kids can attend the first five days of the tournament free of charge. For the final days, children under the age of 2 years will be required to sit on a carer’s lap unless a ticket is purchased.

  • What is the difference between each ticket category?
    Three categories are available for sale (Courtside; Category 1; Category 2):
    Courtside is closest to the court. Courtside tickets purchased for semi-finals and finals also include:
    Premier courtside seating
    Hospitality lounge and terrace access
    Supreme F&B menu with table service
    1 x Premier parking pass
    Category 1
     is the next section closest (lower bowl) to the court followed by Category 2 (upper bowl).
    Neither Category 1 nor Category 2 include hospitality.

  • Are there any refunds or exchanges?
    Once you purchase the ticket, it is a condition of sale that there are no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges. By purchasing a ticket, a customer is automatically accepting all terms and conditions. Attendees are encouraged to read the terms and conditions prior to entering the venue.

  • What is the purchase policy?
    It is a condition of sale that the tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Organiser, be resold at a price above the face value of the tickets or used for advertising, promotion, or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to in any way enhance the demand for any goods or services. If a ticket is sold and/or used in breach of this condition, the Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the bearer of the ticket.

  • What if you lose/damage/destroy your ticket?
    The Organiser will determine the nature of the problem, and if your tickets are replaceable, instruct you as to where and when to pick up your replacement tickets. Replacement tickets can only be picked up by the Credit Card holder with the original credit card used in the purchase. The replacement of any tickets automatically cancels and voids the previous bar-coded ticket.

ATTENDING

 

  • What time does the Tennis Village open?
    The Tennis Village opens 30 minutes prior to the first match on weekdays and 1 hour before the first match on weekends.
  • Is the event seated or standing?
    Seated with disability access.

  • Is there an age minimum for the event?
    This is an all-ages event.
    Valid ID checks will take place for those over 21 wishing to purchase alcohol. Original Identification must be produced to purchase alcoholic beverages (Original Passport, UAE Driver’s License, UAE and GCC ID card).

  • Are drinks and food allowed in the stadium?
    No outside food is permitted in the stadium. However, there will be various vendors within the Tennis Village catering to customer requirements. Please note that no bottle caps are allowed in the venue. (These will be removed upon purchase for safety reasons.)

  • What can’t I take into the venue for the event?
    Aerosol cans, chains, studded bracelets, glow sticks, coolers or ice chests, furniture, fireworks, flares or smoke bombs, illegal drugs, laser pens and pointers, noisemaking devices (whistles, air horns, etc.) food and beverage, poles to display banners, flags, etc., professional cameras, weapons and any other items deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by the Organiser.

  • Will there be food and beverages at the venue?
    Yes, food and beverages will be made available for those who wish to purchase within the Tennis Village and in the Stadium.

  • Is there parking available during the event?
    Parking is ample at Zayed Sports City with over 7,000 spots available onsite, please follow the signs.
    Overnight parking is not permitted and cars left for extended periods of time are subject to towing and stowage at the owner’s expense.

  • How much time prior to the event should I be there?
    You are encouraged to come early to experience the off-court fun!

  • Can I leave the venue and come back?
    Yes

  • Where should I stay?
    There are a large number of hotels located near the venue and within Abu Dhabi.
    Hotels nearby to Zayed Sports City include Aloft, Centro, Holiday Inn, Hilton, Hyatt, Premier Inn, Ritz-Carlton, Rotana, Shangri-La, Fairmont, and Traders. These are located within a five-minute car ride to Zayed Sports City.

ACCESIBILITY

 

  • What is the terrain like?
    Flat. The village is mainly concrete with some grass area by the football pitch.

  • Can I bring an assistance dog?
    Yes, assistance dogs are permitted by the venue.

  • Is there a wheelchair or disabled access?
    There is a wheelchair and disabled access at the venue for this show. A disabled platform is available, for a wheelchair and one carer.
    Please email the Organiser to notify them of any wheelchair or accessible customers’ attendance.
