So.Be. transports the music of South Beach, Miami to Abu Dhabi, fusing together the sounds of smooth R&B, soulful house and up-front dance. Every Friday 4pm, until 3am, Pearls Bar, Shangri La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri

Named after the native Miami way to refer to the infamous South Beach, So.Be. fuses together the sounds of classic R&B, Hip Hop and commercial house and provides just the right soundtrack to watch the sunset over the Capital or dance the night away.

Featuring three of the U.A.E.'s most in demand DJ's So.Be. will feature music to please those either want to catch up with friends, or meet some more. Those that want to relax and unwind or those that want to wind-up. Featuring DJ's Rone Jaxx, Cliff Townley and Karlo Funk each with their own musical style.

Rone Jaxx: Rone started his musical journey at the age of 14 in the early 90's as a MC, in spontaneous battles all over Dubai. Since being involved in shaping the U.A.E. urban community Rone has gone on to develop a passion for smooth mixes and production a sample of both of which can be found on www.myspace.com/jaxxma.

Cliff Townley: With over seven years expereince working with brands like Defected in the House, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi and Space Ibiza, Cliff Townley is Abu Dhabi's house music master with fans across the city and from this Friday he brings his talents to so.be at Pearls Bar.

Karlo Funk: Having grown up around music it was no surprise that Karlo Funk has spent his time involved as both a DJ and broadcaster in the music industry. Karlo has DJ'ed at such clubs Platform 12, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, The White House as well as in front of 5000 people at Malta's super-club Sky. Karlo also worked as a presenter on Ministry of Sound TV where he interviewed artists such as Dave Spoon, Kid Kenobi, Stanton Warriors, Fedde Le Grande and more.
