It’s been a busy month off, but we are back to business at Boogie Box. Adam Rahman and Jovi will be spearheading a KitchenSync Records takeover. Last year Adam provided an unrelenting techno set that left people asking us more. This time around we have given the KitchenSync crew full reign of the decks and can’t wait for what they have in store for us.

Adam Rahman has been a cornerstone in the Dubai scene for over a decade, transmitting his love for underground music and his spirit of ingenuity into an array of projects. He launched his Warped nights in 2004, at a time when the house and techno scene was barren and in its infancy.

Since then, he has played everywhere from backyards, kitchens (literally), and living rooms, to clubs like Analog Room, Blue Marlin, and everywhere in between. He has performed at events like Groove on the Grass (which he also helps organize) and thrilled crowds of thousands in his regular trips to Bangalore and Chennai.

He has performed alongside the likes of Keven Saunderson, Marco Carola and Sven Vath, while keeping his focus locked in the development of the local underground music culture.

You can’t get much more underground than KitchenSync, his much-loved broadcast featuring the best in local talent as well as discussions about the local scene.

Look out for the launch of KitchenSync Records in early 2018, and the debut EP “Acid Run” by Adam himself, featuring a remix by Toronto heavyweight Fairmont. Catch Adam at the launch of the ECHO in DUBAI on Dec 14th and expect his influence in most noteworthy local events.

He will be accompanied by Jovian Alvares, co founder of Kitchen Sync. Like Adam, Jovi shares the ethos for alternative sounds and organic music free of price-tags and predictability.
