What is the child policy?

A child ticket is available for children aged between 3 and 11 years.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Children under 3 years may travel free of charge.

How Do I Redeem My Ticket

Show your ticket to a member of Big Bus staff at one the stops or aboard the bus.
They'll issue you a receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket.

Is there a commentary available in my language?

The Big Bus Abu Dhabi sightseeing tour offers a recorded commentary in your choice of either: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian
The commentary is available through complimentary earphones that you will receive when you board the bus.

Do I need to Specify a Travel Date?

Yes – we’ll ask you to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus.
If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour.
Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to guarantee your seat.
If your ticket includes extras, you may also need to book additional dates & times for all elements of your ticket after your purchase is complete. See your booking confirmation email for instructions.

I have a few hours stopover between my flights and want to take a tour. Which is the nearest stop to the airport?

City Tour (Red Route): Our stop at Abu Dhabi Mall is the nearest Red Route stop to Abu Dhabi International airport (approx. 30 minutes' drive).

Day Tour Departure Times

First tour of the day departs at 09:00 am from Stop 1 at the Abu Dhabi Mall, and buses will come every 60 minutes until 5.00 pm depending on the of time of year.
Other popular stops to start the tour include Stop 2 at Louvre Museum and Stop 11 at the Presidential Palace however you can redeem your ticket at any of the over 15 Big Bus stops. Please see more details on your voucher.

This tour has a no cancellation policy

By car: To reach your destination, take Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan St., followed by Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamed St.; merge onto Ahmed Bin Hamed Al Hamed St. to find your destination. GPS navigation is advised.

By public transportation: Take buses X5, 44, or 44 to the Al Maiyani St / Zayed The First St bus stop, and take a short six-minute walk from there to reach your destination.

By taxi: You can easily reach your destination by taking a taxi or ride-hailing app.
