It is a great responsibility to perform for a young audience, because the impression must be so vivid that it inspires love at first sight for art, for ballet, for theatre.

Our performance is unique in that it presents the most famous excerpts from The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty set to the magnificent music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

Young viewers will be immersed in a magical story and introduced to all the beloved characters of these fairy tales in the format of classical ballet.

The most celebrated and iconic scenes are performed at a high professional level, in the finest traditions of classical Russian ballet.

Audiences will step into a fairy tale and the enchanting world of ballet. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our young guests together with their parents.

This production leaves no one indifferent. The genius music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, vibrant stage design, and our extraordinary artists create an atmosphere of magic that will remain in every viewer’s heart.

Beneath grand, fairy-tale-inspired soft scenic elements, graceful ballerinas glide across the stage in perfect synchrony, drawing the audience into a hypnotic world of beauty and harmony.

Swan Lake is not only the most romantic, but perhaps the most “feminine” of classical ballets. At the heart of its imagery stands the swan maiden, a powerful female figure, and the female corps de ballet shines with particular brilliance.

Although often described as based on an old German legend about Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, enchanted by the evil sorcerer Rothbart, such a legend never actually existed. The story of Swan Lake was imagined by Tchaikovsky himself, inspired by his travels through Bavaria and the beauty of Lake Schwansee.

Patrons arriving late to a performance will only be admitted into the venue at a suitable break. Latecomers may be seated in alternate seat locations to avoid disruption of the performance.

No food or drinks are allowed inside the theatre.

By car: You can drive to the Cultural Foundation from anywhere in Abu Dhabi. You can park there for free.

By public transport: The Cultural Foundation is accessible by bus. The nearest bus station would be Abu Dhabi Bus station which is 1.2 Kilometeres away from the Cultural Foundation.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the Cultural Foundation. It's a famous destination and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
