Music by Sergei Prokofiev Ballet in 2 Acts Choreography by Konstantin Ivanov
A magical fairytale comes to life! The romantic story of Cinderella is one of the most joyful and beautiful ballets ever written. It tells the well-known tale of a kind and hardworking young woman and a prince – their first meeting, the challenges they face, and the dream that finally comes true.
Cinderella lives under the rule of her cruel stepmother and selfish stepsisters, working hard every day and hearing only harsh words. Her biggest wish is to dance at the royal ball – and thanks to a good fairy, her dream comes true. Dressed in a breathtaking gown, she enters the palace without anyone knowing who she is. She captures everyone’s heart, especially the prince’s. But when the clock strikes midnight, the magic fades. She runs away, losing one of her shoes – and so begins the prince’s search for the mysterious girl.
The Russian State Ballet Mari El presents this timeless masterpiece with exquisite classical elegance and artistic purity. Every scene reflects the refined tradition of Russian ballet — from the harmonious choreography to the graceful movements and the richly detailed costumes. The performance captivates with its poetic beauty, transporting audiences into a fairytale world where artistry, tradition, and emotion come together in perfect harmony.
From the first scene to the last, you’ll be swept away by the dancers’ skill, the stunning sets, and the magical atmosphere of one of the world’s favorite fairytales. A wonderful ballet experience for all ages
