In partnership with the US Embassy and marking its debut in the Arab world, Ballet Hispánico, the largest Hispanic cultural organization in the United States and one of America’s Cultural Treasures, unveils its three main programs: the Company, School of Dance, and Community Arts Partnerships, fostering unity in celebrating the multifaceted Hispanic diasporas.

Ballet Hispánico’s New York City headquarters provide the physical home and cultural heart for Latine dance in the United States. It is a space that initiates new inclusive cultural conversations and explores the intersectionality of Latine cultures.

Ballet Hispánico welcomes and serves all, breaking stereotypes and celebrating the beauty and diversity of Hispanic cultures through dance.

"Club Havana"

Choreographed by Pedro Ruiz

Choreographed Pedro Ruiz, a native of Cuba, brings the intoxicating rhythms of conga, rumba, mambo, and cha cha cha to life in Club Havana. This performance promises to be a silky joy that transports audiences through classic Cuban culture.

"Sombrerísimo"

Choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa

Inspired by the surrealist world of Belgian painter René Magritte, famous for his paintings of men in bowler hats, Sombrerísimo references the iconic sombreros (hats) found throughout the world that help to represent culture. Originally choreographed for an all-male cast, Sombrerísimo has evolved into a work that can also be performed by an all-female or mixed-gender cast.

"18+1"

Choreographed by Gustavo Ramírez Sansano

Experience the captivating essence of Gustavo Ramírez Sansano’s choreography in18+1 - a vibrant celebration of vulnerability and joy. With subtle humor and eclectic movements, this piece intertwines with the playful rhythms of Pérez Prado’s mambo music, embodying the care and hope inherent in every artistic journey.

By public transport: The Cultural Foundation is accessible by bus. The nearest bus station would be Abu Dhabi Bus station which is 1.2 Kilometeres away from the Cultural Foundation.   

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the Cultural Foundation. It's a famous destination and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
