audio tonic @ Pearls Bar 12th May

Decadent Entertainment have teamed up with the mighty New Dawn and the man himself Mike (DJ Mr-Mr) Bufton to bring the one and only audio tonic to Abu Dhabi.

In the five years nurturing the UAE (and globe) with an alternative and non-commercial dance music sound, audio tonic has ticked all the right boxes playing upfront electronic music rarely heard anywhere else in the country… successfully. It was only a matter of time before the brand found the right home for its Abu Dhabi mainstay, and that new home can be found at Pearls Bar, at the Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi.

Every Thursday night from 7pm – 3am, audio tonic will take the capital on a musical journey through House, as only audio tonic knows best. DJ’s from Dubai will include Mr Mr, Vas Floyd & Raxon, with a new and warm welcome to Abu Dhabi based Soulfisher, taking his place as an Abu Dhabi resident audio purveyor. audio tonic’s sound is that of melodic, , infectious percussion, with rich bass lines, vocal snippets and layered elements which make it accessible, yet educational, consistently delivering quality music made by some of the worlds best Producers & DJ’s, established and upcoming. 

Conceived and fronted by Mike Bufton (better known as Mr Mr), it’s been his mission to remain consistent and true to his musical ear of supplying music for the micro-masses, producing and presenting his Thursday night Radio 1 UAE audio tonic show for almost five years, and masterminding the night audio tonic LIVE @ 360º for four of those, booking names like Tom Middleton, Jimpster, Ralph Lawson, Funk D’Void, Spirit Catcher, Scope, Luke Fair, Will Saul, Shur-I-Kan, Vincenzo, Roberto Rodriguez, Jody Wisternoff, Omid 16B and the list goes on and on… It’s the brands strong affection for musical quality that has gained it the admiration and support from the hundreds of thousands who have either listened over the airwaves or walked through the open air doors of 360º, greatly assisted by it’s most important players, the resident DJ’s and guests who include Mr Mr, Vas Floyd, Raxon, Julian Jinx, JC, Matthew Charles and Mike Daniel.
