Part of the global re-launch of Ministry of Sound's 'housexy' brand, Every Thursday at Pearls & Caviar - Shangri-La Hotel (Abu Dhabi) from 7pm… the ONLY place to listen to House music in the Capital! The essence of 'housexy' isn't the DJ and it isn't the brand, its quality house music lovingly brought to those that love it. 'housexy' mixes the best in smooth house, with deep disco that touches on the glory days of Studio 54 just as much as the vanguard of today's dance music. Originally conceived by London DJ Chris Warne back in 2000, 'housexy' started as a weekly night in a small bar in deepest Hertfordshire. Within a few years 'housexy' nights had been held in various venues around the UK and Europe. 2005 saw the brand bought out Ministry of Sound, and from there global success was on the horizon. 'housexy' mixes the best in smooth house, with deep disco that touches on the glory days of Studio 54 just as much as the vanguard of today's dance music. The sets he plays are very energetic, smooth and always guaranteed to make you want more. Music style is mainly Funky/Soulful House to Electro House, this year has seen Alex being voted into the Top 3 Best DJs in Abu Dhabi by the Ahlan Best in Abu Dhabi 2011, as well as competing in the Movida Corona, Search for the King of Abu Dhabi DJs 2010 where he finished in the Top 3. With residencies at Skylite (The Yas Hotel) at their exclusive rooftop venue, Alex has recently delighted the crowds at, UFC 112 Official After Party, F1 Grand Prix Abu Dhabi playing in front of VIPs such as Kings of Leon, Mariah Carey, Jamiroquai; also played at the 20th Century Fox party which was hosted by Rupert Murdoch. Keith has worked with the industries top DJ's, MC's & Percussionists, successfully held numerous residencies & played guest slots in over 30 bars & clubs across the UK, USA, Greece, France & the Middle East to hundreds of thousands of partygoers. In the past year Keith left the U.A.E to act as the Resident DJ & Tour manager for Hed Kandi on the island of Zante, Greece, allowing him to play with some of his favourite artists & DJ's within the house music scene. Recently Keith returned to Abu Dhabi to fill his new residency at the exclusive Rush, in The Yas Hotel, positioned on the Yas Marina F1 Circuit, giving him the opportunity to perform to various VIP'S & Celebrities. As well as playing for club nights such as Twice As Nice and Ministry's Smoove every week, Keith has also performed for a number of pool, beach, pre & afterparties including the official Red Bull F1 Team winners party 2010.
