Following a successful FUNtastic “Filipino Fiesta”, “Get Sri Lankan’ed” party and “India Festival”, Le Méridien Abu Dhabi is delighted to announce the launching of its 4th “Le Méridien Village Festival – “ITALIAN FESTA” on 29th November which will showcase the culture and the richness of Italy, ranging from art exhibits, gastronomic presentations, music and folklore performances. The “ITALIAN FESTA” will be open to the public free of charge where visitors will get an opportunity to celebrate, learn, and savour the rich Italian culture, heritage and cuisines. Come, discover and be amazed, with that is all about Le Méridien Village Festival! On 29th November, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm Le Méridien Village Festival is celebrating the “ITALIAN FESTA”. A day of fun, filled with the sights, sounds and tastes of Italy for the whole family. The Center Garden will be converted into an “Italian town” with typical festive decoration! The program will showcase cultural shows from different parts of Italy : pasta demonstration, fashion and jewellery show, Italian music and dance ... Children will also have great fun with face painting and bouncy castle at the Village. We are also honoured to have the famous Italian soprano Monica De Rosa McKay, who will join the celebrations. Food stalls will host an array of delicious authentic Italian dishes at a very affordable price. A large live cooking station will offer delicacies like pasta & risotto, one meter pizzas, antipasti and grilled seafood. The dessert station will tantalise your taste buds with the famous gelato, the classic tiramisu and Mille-Feuille.
