Lisa Batiashvili, Violin

Lisa Batiashvili is an internationally acclaimed Georgian-born German violinist who collaborates closely with the world’s leading orchestras and conductors.

In 2021 she founded the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation to support young Georgian musicians and served as Artistic Director of the Audi Sommerkonzerte Ingolstadt from 2019 to 2022. In 2025 she was awarded the Kaiser Otto Prize for her commitment to peace, opposing antisemitism, and promoting European values.

An exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist, she has an extensive, award-winning discography and performs regularly on major international stages. She lives in Berlin and plays a 1739 Guarneri del Gesù violin.

Giorgi Gigashvili, Piano

Born in 2000 in Tbilisi, Giorgi Gigashvili is an internationally recognised pianist with a distinctive artistic profile. He is a prizewinner at major international competitions, including the Géza Anda and Arthur Rubinstein competitions, and released his critically acclaimed debut album Meeting My Shadow in 2023.

Alongside his international concert career, he develops innovative projects that connect classical music with Georgian folk traditions and electronic music. He studies in Berlin with Kirill Gerstein and is supported by leading cultural foundations, including the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation.
