Full Description
Start your desert adventure with pick up from your selected location or hotel in a 4WD air-conditioned vehicle by the Desert Safari Captain. Enjoy a comfortable ride to the desert for around 30-45 minutes whilst relishing the stunning roadside views.
When you reach the desert, head straight to the camel farm where you can meet the gorgeous creatures and feed them. After that, experience an exhilarating dune bashing adventure. Feel the thrill as your safari captain maneuvers the vehicle through the sand dunes. Next, try your hand at sandboarding adventure and give your skating skills a test as you glide down the sandy slopes.
After this, head to the Bedouin desert camp and enjoy a warm welcome with Arabic Coffee (Gahwaa) and Arabic Dates. Take a short camel ride and get your camera ready to catch the best sunset view from the top dunes. Be delighted as you delve into the charm of Emirati customs and culture. Enjoy cultural activities such as henna painting and shisha smoking. Then, try on traditional Arabian costumes and take pictures with a falcon.
To wind down the evening, enjoy an entertaining Tanoura and a breathtaking belly dance performance. Savor a scrumptious barbecue dinner under the gleaming desert sky. Once the adventures and activities are wrapped up, the lights of the camp will be doused. Sit back and glance at the desert and the star-lit sky for a few peaceful moments. Finally, get dropped back to your selected location or hotel by the Desert Safari Captain.
Know Before You Go
Please wear comfortable shoes
It is recommended not to eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid any vomiting/sickness during the dune bashing
Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it
Tanoura dance and belly dance will not be available during Ramadan from April 23 to May 23, 2020, or on any special Islamic days as per UAE law. Dates may vary as per the UAE law and season
Infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed in the car during the dune-bashing activity
Dune bashing is not allowed for pregnant women
The tour duration includes the pickup and drop-off
Any damage, injuries sustained or items lost during the sandboarding or the optional quad bike are not covered by insurance and are solely the participant's responsibility
