Naseer Shamma & the 2350 BC Orchestra: From Assyria to Seville

Naseer Shamma is a world-renowned master of the oud, a musical entrepreneur who also founded Bait Al Oud. Pioneers at Bait Al Oud’s School in Abu Dhabi, are at the forefront of crafting new instruments to further advance the oud family. The 2350 BC Orchestra comprises of 35 master graduates from ADACH’s Arabian Oud House, along with compelling guest musicians from around the world and incorporates new innovative instruments. These elements come together in concert. ‘From Assyria to Seville’ will present these new instruments from the oud family. The concert will feature the oud, as well as its derived instruments, the mandolin, the guitar, and the bozouq. Led by oud legend and composer Naseer Shamma, the 2350 BC Orchestra will also feature the new instruments, taking the public on a voyage through music, culture and time, with a unique performance presenting unprecedented musical forms.
