Please be informed that Qasr Al Watan will be closed from 18th till 21st of October 2026 due to a private event at the Palace.
During this period, guests will not be able to access Qasr Al Watan, and the light show will be cancelled.
The palace is set to reopen on the 22nd of October 2026. Should there be any changes to the reopening date further communication will be sent.

Dress Code: Modest attire is required shoulders and knees should be covered; flip-flops or overly casual footwear may not be permitted.

Prohibited Items & Security: Security screening is enforced — large bags, food and drinks (except water), pets, bikes or skateboards, alcohol, and weapons are not allowed.
Photography & Mobile Phones: Non-commercial photos and videos are allowed in most areas — but mobile phones must be on silent. Tripods and certain filming equipment are restricted without prior permission.
Free parking is available at the Visitor Centre, with optional paid valet service.
Accessibility: Both attractions are wheelchair accessible

By car: Qasr Al Watan is located in Ras Al Akhdar, Abu Dhabi and is easily accessible by car. You can park the car in the palace’s parking free of cost.

By public transportation: The palace is easily accessible by public transportation with multiple bus routes available from across Abu Dhabi

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to the palace from anywhere in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. It’s a popular destination, and most taxi drivers will be familiar with the location.

Dubai Frame:

By car: Dubai Frame is centrally located and is easily accessible by car. You can park the car in the corresponding parking. Charges may apply.

By public transportation: Dubai Frame is easily accessible by public transportation. If you are taking the metro, you can get off at the Max metro station and take a short bus or walk to the destination.

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to Dubai Frame from anywhere in Dubai. It’s a popular destination, and most taxi drivers will be familiar with the location.
